Fortune holds a dual Master's from Saint Joseph's University in Health Administration and Health Education after earning her Bachelor's at Pennsylvania State University in Human Development and Family Studies. She has a background in behavioral health and extensive experience in directing residential service programs under the 6400 regulations. She manages our team and ensures harmony in supporting your 'everyday lives.'
Michael graduated from Temple University with a Master's in Social Work. He has far-flung experience in the field of human services working with children and families through Delaware County Children and Youth Services. Michael also directed residential programs for adults in accordance with 6400 regulations, developing and implementing program service policies and procedures.
Dean is a licensed behavior specialist with a Master's in Human Services. Dean has worked across all settings providing medically necessary behavior health services to individuals and families for life-long success.
Dean is a part of the intake and assessment team at PPHS and is on call 24/7 to handle crisis and support staff with appropriate interventions.
Felicia holds a BA in Psychology with wide ranging experience in residential service programs. She is part of the intake team at PPHS and ensures the smooth transition of all individuals coming into our program from home or other providers and or institutions.
Richard is a seasoned nurse of over 30 years of professional experience in USA, Canada and Africa. He has worked across various settings to include:
Hospitals, Nursing & Rehabilitation Centers, Geriatrics Care Centers, Residential Care and personal homes.
PPHS ensures competency of all staff providing services to meet behavioral and medical needs. All employees hired to provide direct or indirect services are qualified and maintain competency throughout service delivery.
All employees of PPHS must be 18 years of age or older at the time of employment. Upon completing application for employment, PPHS will verify applicant's age by checking valid State issued identification card or driver’s license.
A standard annual training curriculum is implemented at PPHS for all staff. The curriculum at minimum, contains all ODP required training topics; BHSL training topics and trainings relevant to staff’s responsibilities--These are to include but not limited to: daily operations of the homes, as well as, policies and procedures at PPHS. Additionally, continuous education resources of relevant human service training topics are provided to enable employees meet the annual training requirement of 24 hours remotely or face-to-face.
Criminal background check is requested for all employees through the PA State Police prior to hiring. If the applicant has not been a resident of the Commonwealth for the two years immediately preceding the date of application, a report of Federal criminal history record is requested from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in addition to a criminal history record check.
